Years at O’Toole Design? 3 years, 8 months
What drew you to O’Toole Design? I was retired and still wanted to work part time. O’Toole Design was an opportunity to work for a great company in a creative environment close to home. It was the perfect place for me at this time in my life. And it still is!
What is your favorite project so far at O’Toole Design? Just helping our design team with any task to lighten their load.
What has been your most creatively challenging project so far at O’Toole Design? Being “old school” in a fast moving, technology driven work world. I like the challenge though, and it keeps me on my senior toes.
What things do you like most about working at O’Toole Design? Being part of an incredibly talented cohesive team. Scheduling the sales reps in and meeting and greeting anyone who comes in the office. I’m sort of the “mom” and I love it!
If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be? Cook behind the scenes in a 5 star restaurant.
What inspires you? People who are selfless, hardworking, caring, overcomers of life’s obstacles, and have a sense of humor. I just described my team!
Where is your favorite place in the world? I once sailed the British Virgin Islands on a big catamaran with a great chef on board.
Any additional comments for our 25th? I am so proud to work for this woman owned business that grew out of a home office to the great commercial interior design firm it is now. Our 25th anniversary party was a great celebration of that achievement…not to mention it was a blast!
